Session Description:

Workplace drama, gossip, and rumors are more than culture issues; when mishandled, they can create employment law risks involving harassment, retaliation, discrimination, privacy, and inconsistent discipline. In this highly participatory session, HR professionals and leaders will learn how to identify the legal and organizational risks behind difficult workplace behaviors, intervene with clarity and consistency, document concerns appropriately, and redirect unproductive conversations without escalating conflict or becoming part of the drama themselves.

Spot it -Identify the behaviors and conditions that fuel workplace drama

Stop it - Respond to gossip, rumors, and conflict with confidence and professional

Shift it - Build a culture of trust, accountability and respectful communication

A keynote presenter, board member and mediator, Pamela has served 20+ years in executive level HR leadership roles in public, nonprofit and technology sector. Most recently, Pamela served as Executive Director of HR for Houston ISD. She thrives helping organizations and businesses bring calm to chaos.
